If any member of the school community has a safeguarding concern about a child, then please raise it with the school in the first instance, unless the child is at risk of immediate harm, in which case ring 999 and ask for the Police.
All members of staff and the wider school community should be able to raise concerns about poor or unsafe practice and feel confident any concern will be taken seriously by the school leadership team. We have ‘whistleblowing’ procedures in place and these are available in the Trust Whistleblowing Policy. However, for any parent or others in the wider school community who feel unable to raise concerns, or where they feel their concerns have not been addressed, they may contact the NSPCC whistleblowing helpline on: 0800 028 0285 (line is available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday) or the general NSPCC helpline on: 0808 800 5000 (24 hour helpline) or email: help@nspcc.org.uk .
