At Barnes Farm Junior School we believe that all children should be given every opportunity to flourish. We have worked hard to identify the necessary strategies to support our disadvantaged pupils, acknowledging these are different for all pupils. All of our disadvantaged pupils are supported individually and we work closely with families to ensure we can support them in the best possible way. If your child is in receipt of the Pupil Premium grant and you wish to discuss anything at any time, you are always welcome to make an appointment to see Mrs Walker (Deputy Headteacher and Disadvantaged Champion) so we can support you and your child in the best way possible. All parents will be invited in during the school year to have a Structured Conversation where we can explore the progress made and what has been going well.
If you are having difficulty and believe your child may be eligible for the Pupil Premium grant, please pop into the office and we can explore the options available for you.
The document below provides a snapshot of our intentions to support disadvantaged pupils over the next year and beyond.
The statutory document below is required to highlight, in depth, how we intend to spend our Pupil Premium grant for our disadvantaged pupils and the evidence to inform the approach.
